Multi-purpose, ready-to-use scintillation cocktails for Liquid Scintillation Counting (LSC) of β radiators (e.g. ³H, ¹⁴C, ³²P, ³⁵S) in aqueous samples. NPE-free

The next generation ROTISZINT^® Cocktails have been developed to replace nonylphenylethoxylates (NPE) with more user-friendly, sustainable reagents. In addition, these modern cocktails show even higher scintillation efficiency and higher sample holding capacity. ROTISZINT^® cocktails are also biodegradable and pleasant to use due to their high flash point.
ROTISZINT^® scintillation cocktails may be used in all biological, biochemical and chemical areas. Typical applications are, for instance, the measurement of cell culture supernatants, routine analysis, enzymatic or flow-count assays in the field of research, development or analytics.

Our modern ROTISZINT^® cocktails contain the same reagents as primary and secondary scintillators that were used in ROTISZINT^®Eco plus. Thus, neither the excitation nor the detection wavelength change for the application.
We also recommend to use the same scintillation protocol in the first approaches with one of the new ROTISZINT^® cocktails as was previously used with the cocktail Eco plus (0016). In many cases, the parameters are directly transferable. If the scintillation results are not satisfactory at first, the sample quantity (the ratio sample/cocktail) can be readjusted.

ROTISZINT^®HighCapacity was developed to work with both dilute and more concentrated samples used in general LSC counting. This special scintillation cocktail will accept up to 10 ml of most dilute sample types and lesser volumes of concentrated samples.
ROTISZINT^®HighCapacity thus offers the greatest possible flexibility with samples of high diversity.
Biodegradable.

The sample uptake capacity is up to 10 ml / 10 ml cocktail for many common solvents such as 0.5 M HNO₃, 1 M H₃PO₄, 0.1 M NaOH, 0.1 M NaCl, PBS and water. Only for some special and highly concentrated solutions (such as 0.1 M ammonium citrate, 0.1 M EDTA, 4 M H₃PO₄ or 4 M HNO₃) the maximum sample volume is 4 to 6 ml / 10 ml cocktail.

Excellent for measuring solutions. For the measurement of filter samples we recommend the use of ROTISZINT^®Filter.
